If you have scarring anywhere on your face, scalp or body that you would like to improve the appearance of, we encourage you to book a complimentary consultation. Seeing and feeling your scar in person will allow us to make a more informed recommendation for a treatment plan.

Types of scars we can work on: burn, self-harm, hair transplant, skin grafts, acne scarring, and surgical scars (including c-sections, face lifts, implants, cleft lips, mastectomies and more)

Types of surgeries we cannot work on: keloid scarring, not yet fully healed scars (we recommend waiting at least 8 months at a minimum - some scars can take a year. As a general rule, we are looking for scars that are no longer reddish in colour)

We recommend booking in for a complimentary consultation so that we can see your scar and skin in person, and make a better informed recommendation for a treatment plan - including time frame, cost, and what we feel is realistically achievable.

Based on the consultation, we will recommend one or a combination of:

Dry needling : a more focused, deeper version of microneedling to improve the texture of the scar by breaking up scar tissue and encouraging your body to produce more collagen and elastin. This is typically recommended as a first step for raised surgical scars, or most other areas of scarring that is not very flat/smooth and/or is hypo-pigmented. Depending on the extent of retexturing required, this can take 1-3+ sessions.

Micropigmentation: this is where we introduce pigment to help hyper- or hypo-pigmented scars to blend with the colour of the surrounding skin. To get the best possible match, this process generally takes about 3 short sessions. Like other forms of tattooing, this is considered permanent - but may require touch ups depending on skin type, lifestyle, age, etc.
