This is the peel that’s been taking the skincare industry by storm!  This little green potion is disrupting the whole industry because its proprietary formulation of 35% TCA peel that delivers results of a traditional chemical peel without the downtime.  

BioRePEEL improves the skin surface, minimizes imperfections and accelerates cell turnover.  Stimulating the reconstruction of collagen and elastin deep within the skin layer, results can be seen instantly and continue to improve over the following weeks.  This peel utilizes an iconic biphasic technology which allows the peel to bypass the epidermis and works from the inside out - no visible signs of peeling but all the results of a traditional chemical peel.

The Active Ingredients include:

TCA (trichloroacetic acid) 35% to improve skin texture, scarring, and pigmentation

FAQS

CAN EVERYONE BENEFIT FROM BIOREPEEL?
As this is a potent treatment, clients must on appropriate home skincare regimen for a minimum of two weeks prior to the treatment.  At very minimum, a tyrosinase inhibitor (we recommend this one). BioRePeel is suitable for all skin tones and types - and can safely be used all year round. If you are not currently a skincare client of INK + HAIR, we encourage you to book in for a Get to Know You Facial first to ensure that this is a suitable treatment for your skin.   This treatment can be repeated as often as every 10 days.

WHO IS NOT A CANDIDATE FOR BIOREPEEL?
This is not a suitable treatment if you:
* are currently pregnant or nursing
* have used Accutane within the last 8 months
* are allergic to aspirin
* are currently undergoing cancer treatment or have had skin cancer within the last 3 years
* have an active bacterial/viral/fungal/herpetic infection
* have pre-existing inflammatory dermatosis - such as psoriasis, atopic dermatitis, pemphigus
* currently taking prescriptions that are photo-sensitizing
* are using prescription retinoids (must discontinue use for 7 days before & after)

HOW DO I PREPARE FOR A BIOREPEEL TREATMENT?
For 5 days prior to treatment, avoid hair removal procedures (waxing, laser hair removal, chemical hair removal creams, electrolysis) on areas to be treated. Also avoid all topical retinoids, acids, and other exfoliants. For a minimum of two weeks prior to treatment, protect your skin with daily use of a broad spectrum sunscreen (SPF 30+), use a tyrosinase inhibitor, and keep your skin strong and hydrated.

POST-TREATMENT DOs & DON’Ts
Avoid all retinols and AHAs / BHAs for 7 days
No hair removal procedures
No swimming / saunas for 7 days
Use fragrance-free gentle cleanser (we recommend Dermalogica Special Cleansing Gel) and fortifying moisturizer (we recommend Dermalogica Stabilizing Repair Cream)
Avoid non-mineral makeup for 7 days
Use a mineral sunscreen daily
